hEX PoE went brick, even netinstall does not bring it back

Hi. I recently purchased hEX PoE. I did some experiments w/ VLANs and managed to sever my admin connection.

I tried to reinstall the box w/ Netinstall and managed to load stable RouterOS (e.g. got the device visible in Netinstall & Install v 6.40.xx, took about one minute). The device stays bricked, however. It does not issue DHCP requests on ether1 nor does the DHCP server on ether2 work. If I set my admin station (on ether2) by hand to IP 192.168.88.2 and try to connect, no joy.

Any pointers?

Tried w/ Netinstall 6.39 (previous attempt was w/ 6.40). The earlier version was able to de-brick the device, so I’m back in business.

Netinstall works with equally RouterOS version, but might not with others.
