Hi,
I am a new MikroTik / Router OS user and am starting to regret trying a Mikrotik over another router…
I have a HexS router and want to configure it in the following way:
Eth 1 - WAN - Static IP
Eth 2 - Management - VLAN 1 untagged, DHCP Client
Eth 3 - VLAN 301 untagged with DHCP Server, VLAN 303 tagged no DHCP
Eth 4 - VLAN 303 untagged
Eth 5 - Wifi mAP lite, VLAN 500 untagged, DHCP server
I have set up a bridge added port eth3 and have the VLANs working but do not have internet access on VLAN 301
Eth4 is set to PVID of 303 but doesnt seem to have the correct route as i can ping the end device on eth3 but not get full data throughput.
Am i expecting too much of such a small device? would i be better to use a managed switch as well?
Any / all help much appreciated.
