I was looking at purchasing a couple of the hex series routers but noticed that the Hex Lite has a faster CPU than the Hex. Is this a typo or is there a reason that the cheaper “lite” version has the faster CPU?
The MHz is higher, but the CPU is not faster. It uses a lower end processor, that is clocked higher. Also, the HEX is gigabit, and the Lite is 10/100.
HEXLite cpu - QCA9531-BL3A-R
HEX cpu - QCA9556-AR4A
Ok, That makes sense. That’s why I asked. Lol
Thanks for the reply. I’ll be getting the Hex then. Also, I hope they come out with a Hex with WiFi
