Hello,

Firstly Im glad to be here, recently I switched from linksys router to microtic v. 2.7.14, however I have little problem and I need help from you guys :slight_smile:

Microtic router is connected to wireless antena and I use PRISM card on it.

The problem I have is the following:

My provider changes SSID every night and goes back to old one every morning, I have to add manyally SSID every night and every morning and after I made so many called it seams they dont hear me well, Im getting tired strugling with this :frowning:

My PRISM does not support more the one SSID to be added so thats the problem.

Is it possible to add an script with new SSID that will be executed, lets say 20 sec. after there is no connection to provider’s Access Point ???


Please help me on this!?

Yes, you could do that with a script.

But, if you were to upgrade to 2.9, you could use the “connect list” feature, and be done with it.

2.7 is old. If you don’t upgrade, you will be missing many features, and support will be hard to come by.

Thanks for fast repy eflanery.

I will take your advice and upgrade to new version.

Since Im new to misrotik, if I face any problem i will ask for help again.

P.S. provider its not only wierd but it seams they are twisted fooks :smiley: Im in position that I cant change provider otherwise I would do it imediately.
