my system (Dell) with 62-bit OS is finding it difficult to access a mikrotic device using mack address. though i can loggin perfectly with ips. so the issue is when i want to configure a new device and i removed all default ip in the device, i can’t use the device mack address to loggin.
please, i’ll need a vital info on how to go about this
Try to upgrade your os to 64 bit. I never had problems with mac winbox connection from it.

I thought so. It was just kind of joke, sorry for that. But anyway it should work. Have you tried to disable all firewall and antivirus software? It could block the operation somehow.
i disabled my virtual box and since then am good to go. i can logging in just a click, am very happy that i was able to solve this problem.
