Hide delete icon in network maps

Hello Guys,

How to hide the delete/remove - button under “Dude>Network Maps” because user with read only access can see the remove/delete button and able to delete the entire Network Maps from the webfig?

-RouterOS v6.42.5 (stable)

Not a direct answer to your question…why are you still running this version? It is 2,5 years old and I’m pretty sure there are some vulnerabilities in this version.

Hi Erlinden,
I don’t have much time to do the upgrade as for the time being.. I just wanted to restrict “read only user” the ability to delete the configured network.
Please attached screenshot to figure out the issue.

Is the map created by this user or by another user?
And, as I don’t know anything about Dude, are there any Dude settings in regards to this?

And to be honest…not much time to upgrade, it is all about priorities. In my opinion, the problem your describing is of less importance.

I agree with the above poster. You are using a version that can potentially be accessed by anyone, then you will lose your entire network, not just one dude map.
Upgrade first, ask agan later.

If you only mean the Dude in Webfig, you can use “Design Skin” menu to hide certain buttons and menus.
