in the top layer ‘Local Map’ i have placed a submap ‘submap-1’.
Inside ‘submap-1’ i have placed another submap ‘submap-2’
Inside ‘submap-2’ i have placed a device ‘device’ with service ping.
Now the device gets unreachable.
If i am inside ‘submap-2’ the color of ‘device’ turns to red. okay!
If i am inside ‘submap-1’ the color of ‘submap-2’ turns to red. okay!
If i am inside ‘Local Map’ nothing changes at all. Not okay!
Inside ‘Local Map’ i want to have ‘submap-1’ changing its color
as well.
Is there a way to transfer device status information across
multiple submap layers?
Short answer is no.
Currently there is no vertical hierarchy for network maps, they can be linked
together in any way. Therefor your submap-2 can be linked to Local Map
straightly if you want to see status of submap-2 on Local Map.
Is ti possible to let DUDE scan network and detect submaps on his own?
For an example: if netork is 10.10.0.0/16 but consists of two networks 10.10.0.0/17 and 10.10.128.0/17 is it capable of findong both networks and diplay them as subnets?
