High CPU Utilization

Hello,

We have 2 Mikrotik routers in our production running on following firmware. We did a vulnerability scan on these routers and which kind of overloaded them and caused both to reboot. Then we started noticing high CPU utilization of more than 90% on one of the random CPU's (ex: CPU#41) at any given time. Also, we are noticing time outs on client side (error 499). Services like SSH access used to time out on the router and is fixed once we change the SSH port number. Do you know what causes high CPU utilization usually and does CPU utiilization have anything to do with timeouts? Also, we don't have any scripts running on it. Please help provide a solution to resolve the issue?
