HIGH LATENCY

Ineed advice on high latency issue.

I have RB 600 with just 15 clients associated to it,but they always complain of high latency even when they ping only the base IP address without internet link.the traffic on it is not up to 3 mg still the latency is
always going high even when the clients are connected on -57db the latency still high.

could it be that RB cannot withstand the traffic or what??? or there is other things i can do to stop it . Ineed advice on high latency issue.

15 clients, CPE ?
We have a situation where, a bad signal clients will effect a good signal client, when the bad signal do a big download, probably p2p.
You don’t see much effect at low traffic. We have since improved the bad client signal by replacing with a higher gain antenna and better location. Problem solved ever since

what is the noise level? check the SN ratio at the AP. you may have a hidden node problem, you would need to set the RTS on each client to 512 or 256 to help avoid this.
