I started to use CAPsMAN and saw that the output of the high power devices has been reduced to normal power. After fiddling around I could change output power but I am not sure, what was the default output power and what value I should put in tx power in CAPsMAN profile.
Please note that I am aware of country regulations and know what is allowed and what not - this thread should therefore be only about the technical part how to set right power.
Hardware in particular: RB951G-2HnD and hap ac.
Usually I set the country and they are still operating with high power which helps a lot in some areas. But with CAPsMAN when I set the country everything is reduced to 20dbm.
What are the default tx power settings of both devices? I would like to set same power as they operate when not being controlled by CAPsMAN thus also prevent to use with too high power. For now I set 25dbm which seems to be similar but not quiet same as in one area the reception is now more bad than before CAPsMAN.
