highest power dual band AP?

Hi guys,

I have a situation where one building would be best supplied by a higher power access point. Am I correct in thinking that the hAP ac currently is the highest power dual-band access point that Mikrotik produces?

I’d love to go with something like the metal with omni antenna, but I would prefer dual-band & pairing a metal 2 with a metal 5 seems a little awkward.

you can assemble this combo:
routerboard rbm33g

2ghz radio R11e-2HPnD
https://mikrotik.com/product/R11e-2HPnD

5ghz radio R11e-5HacD

enclosure and antennas you can choose from the web there are many options

the advantage over hap ac2 will be the antennas

much appreciated chechito,

Out of interest, do custom assembled routerboards play well together? i.e. are there many glitches (apart from rightly seating parts together) that one has to navigate (no offense meant… I’m used to building windows computers  ).

you are right more work and more expensive

but

for specific needs, specific solutions

it depends of the project we must see if it deserves this effort or not

OK, sounds good… Can I assume the drivers for the mini pcie modules are included in routeros?
thanks!

I have a few of these, they work great:

What settings do you have on them, power wise?

I have them, but the wifi ability (range) seems very bad.
