From the routerboard.com product list page:
RB411UAHR has it all, just as
the name suggests. It has the popular
high-speed CPU, a miniPCI-e slot
and a SIM slot for 3G modems
Am I crazy or do you mean that a 3G modem could possibly work and then with proper configurations you could connect to a cell phone carrier that has 3G access?
Well if so wow this is a an odd breakthrough/combination of ubiquitous access. You could setup in theory a unit in a car and that then could rebroadcast a/b/g/N. Right?
I am in New Mexico, USA and there is several projects underway to upgrade the cell sites for greater 3G coverage for the state. This will either kill my service or allow me to pop up hotspots in extremely remote areas of the state. Nonetheless please correct me if I am wrong about this 3G ability.
Thanks
