I tried a wrong password just to see what it do. It gave an error message about wrong user or password. It’s possible the firewall was corrupted. But I never turned it on.
But it’s all water under the bridge now. All four MikroTiks are now on my bench. And I successfully rebooted the one that was on the tower.
Again I really appreciate the help you gave me. I learned several new things from you.
