I use Mikrotik routers in my work environment but we do not run Wireless IP networks and I am trying to learn some more about them.
At home I have a wireless network using the ISP supplied modem/router. What i want to do is use a RB951 2n in another room where my main router is with my desktop attached a couple of other wired connections.
My understanding is that I want to set up my RB as a station to hang off my home network. Ideally i would want the wired connections off the Mikrotik to be with the same LAN, is this possible? My objective is to remove a longish Ethernet cable.
Hopefully this has not been to confusing and i have tired google search the forum and the wiki but since i am unsure where to start I am going around in circles.
