I’ve got a RB433AH with an R52N interface. I have two U.FL pigtails on the card and no matter if I have a large 16db omni or a smaller 12 panel antenna in the room with me or on the other side of the building, I have horrible or no signal strength. I try the same antennas and cables on other routers and I have max signal strength. I’ve tried two different POE adapters and two different laptops and the result is the same regardless. I’ve actually removed both of the two U.FL pigtail connectors and the signal strength is the same if they are connected or not. It’s almost like it’s not being allowed to use the U.FL antenna plugs or something. When i go to the wireless tab under the interface wlan1 there doesn’t appear to be any antenna mode like I have seen in some tutorials. I’m new to the Mikrotik scene and I’m sure I’m overlooking something obvious. Anyone have any suggestions on what I might be missing?

This turned out to be a bad WLAN card. Replacing it resolved the issue
