Hot to change default Gateway

Hi,

i have a Microtikf RB450G with routeros-mipsbe 6.17. I have not find what I want to do.

I have just configured it for first time, but I still don’t know how to change de ip gateway 192.168.1.1 to the gateway 192.168.100.XX i was using previously in my network.

A part from DHCP, must I configure any other section in this router?.

I am a beginner user of this router, so please I will need very simple instruccions for changing the gateway.

/ip address add interface=InterfaceName address=your.desired.ip.here netmask=your.netmask.goes.here

You will also have to change your DHCP network so your LAN clients know the new gateway’s IP, as well as change your DHCP pool so that the addresses lie within the same subnet.

Or, easier, you could just use Quickset in Winbox. <—
