What hardware would people recommend for this? It will be too much for RB1100AHX2 and my understanding is that hotspot only runs on a single core at the moment so no benefit in using CCR?
If I remember this presentation correctly, an 1100AH was configured to handle a couple thousand hotspot users at a time. 6+ years ago, I cannot remember everything that was in it.

A lot of things have changed since 2010, but many of the optimizations should still be valid.
