Hotspot access to LAN?

Hello, i am trying to setup an AP for our shop, i have basic knowledge of networking and mikrotik but it sort of stops at iptables and routing. There is only one internet connection wich is gatewayed by a clearos machine wich is also a fileserver and http server.
My question is, after i setup the hotspot, will the clients be able to connect also to the machines in our LAN or not? and if they theoretically can, what must i configure to prevent it?

Depends on your setup of router, but if they know your lan ip, probably. Many ways to preventa basic firewall rule blocking data from on interface to another. Lets say Lan is on Ether1 and AP is Wlan1 the you would make rule with in interface Wlan1 and out interface Ether1 and action set as reject. This wil block data from Ap to Ether 1 but still allow data to maybe Ether 2 where gateway would be connected.
