Ok we have set out to hot spot out town of 2 miles, currently we have 1 maand 2 remote stations.
1 Main ap 2 cm9s at 2.4ghz b, 2 180 degree sectors, running wds in bridge mode running hot spot on the bridge
2 repeaters running 2 cm9s 2.4ghz channels 9 and 11 b , 1 yaggi over station wds channel 9, 1 360 omni for the clients no wds 2.4ghz channel 1, both in bridge.
Clients range from any old wifi card to the Tranzeo CPE90s which i want to manage.
I only want to manage the tranzeos remotely.
Hotspot seemlessly over all the stations and aps, works great , 1 point of access to all users.
Problem
I have clients that i want to manage the cpe equiptment remotley.
I have tried everything and cant seem to connect to the remote routers, even setting up a seperate ip range just for the cpe equiptment and nothing.
Now my guess is that the hotspot bound to the interface is disallowing me access.
I have set up a pppoe server on the same interface trying to use a routed method just for those customers, but again since its on the hotspot interface im thinking that it is blocking me access.
Thinking i may have to get a daughter board and run 2 more cm9s for the clients i want to route and not have a hotspot interface on those clients.
Any ideas
