I have setup a hotsport in my guest network bridged. When users connect to Wi-Fi, it redirects them to the login portal. Until everything is fine, although some devices do not perform that redirection well and that is when the problems come. If, for example, they open the browser and load a page, the error occurs because it does not have access to the DNS. On the other hand, if they put an IP like 8.8.8.8 then it does redirect to the portal.
And now a second one, if I want to assign a certificate to said portal so that there is no certificate error, what would be the correct way? I have a domain that has its certificate, but I don’t know if opening the 443 from the outside is correct or if it can be done in a better way.
