Hotspot and HTTPS catch problem

Hi, this is my first post. I need to setup a simply hotspot with RB750GL. I followed up the wizard for the hotspot and it seems to work perfectly.

If i try to connect to my company website it works perfectly: i am catched, required to login and than it continues to work. If i try to connect to ANY https website (i.e. https://www.google.com) before the authentication, it tells that the connection was interrupted (with firefox) and it doesn’t show the authentication page on the mikrotik.

Where I am wrong? Thanks!

Your not. You can’t proxy HTTPS connections.

Mmmm… so the hotspot function is quite useless because a lot of computers today have google.it as first page on their browser… is there any workaround?
