I have problem with iPhone5 and hotspot. When i join hotspot network it won’t redirect me to login page. All other phones i have tested work correctly. Is this problem with https pages or something else.

When I connect to hotspot, open safari and enter URL which existing on the web(DNS server can resolve it) e.g. yahoo.com hotspot working fine, but if I enter unexisting url e.g. dgfdfgdfg.com hotspot can’t redirect me to login page if can not resolve DNS request. Can I somehow redirect client to login page for unexisting url ??
enable http-pap and http-chap in the server profile login tab. some mac stuff seems to struggle without pap enabled
https pages will not work anyway. must use http page to get login page to show
when you connect to hotspot, open safari and type something in search, iphone 5 will try to find that word at httpS://google.com instead http://google.com but mikrotik can’t redirect https to login page, is any solution for this problem ??
Older IOS use http to search google.
I do not have Iphone so not sure. Must be way to edit the default search engine. Be surprised if Iphone was locked to google as they are the main competition
