Hotspot and one2one NAT question

Hello,

i plan to use the Hotspot feature with a central radius based authorization. There will be multiple Hotspot instances in different location connected over some kind of backbone ( Wifi point2point, vpn tunnels … ).

I like to assign fix IPs via radius, but it seems that it’s only possible to assign IPs for the one2one NAT which belongs to direct attached networks.

Is there a way to get a hostroute entry for every running hotspot session. The idea is to redistribute those routes over OSPF and the user can use the same IP in every location.

greetings julian

it s not possible

If you’re using Hotspot, the user will get an IP before he is authenticated. Without an IP he will not be able to load the hotspot portal page.

Sure, but there is a feature for a 1to1 NAT after the authentication. http://wiki.mikrotik.com/wiki/Manual:Hotspot_Introduction#Getting_an_Address
