Hotspot and Proxy error

I am using 2.9.6 with transparent Hotspot and RADIUS MAC authentication

I have 22 mikrotiks all having the same issues. Proxy errors

for instance, a client uses personals.yahoo.com and when you click around inside the personals you get 400 proxy error, which happens on everynode that uses hotspot, and it happens more in IE, and much less in Netscape.
I read that this means a malformed URL, but since our cleint was using the personals on 2.8.28 he thinks it is us.. and I kinda of agree with him

we are also getting mulitple reports of 502 bad gateway error.

is anyone else having proxy errors?

do I have to use a proxy server with the hotspot? I have tried to find this out by reading the manual, but it doesnt seem to say, oir I cant find where it does say if you must use the proxy.

question: do I have to use proxy with hotspot? what happens if I uncheck the transpartent proxy?

You do not have to use proxy with HS.

what happens when I dont use the proxy? what features do I lose?

all of a sudden we are also geting the same problem
( microtik proxy error ------------------ 502 bad gateway ) ( only for hotmail )
what we are useing is as bellow

we are useing

mikrotik v 2.9.44 with hs and have configured the
ip / proxy ( not web proxy )but only put in the parameter ( web proxy setting )
parent proxy and port with 1000 user limit

any help will be highly appriciated
