Hi, i’m planning to cover a very large external area with Mikrotik equipments. I’ll have a main location where i’ll install Capsman to manage all my APs. From my main location i’ll also have hotspot configured for clients access and my goal is, if a client is connected to AP2 exemple, the login page for the Hotspot will load Image2 as banner and to continue if another client is registered to AP3 the login page will load image3.
My issue is how I can tell the Hotspot to load imageX if user is connected to certain AP. Maybe scripting ? Or an easer way that I dont know.
Ok Since I have no reply I’ll try to explain my plan B but I red some post about it and also no one seam to have a good answer.
To solve my main problem what I can do is to install multiples Hotspots, When a user connect to Hotspot1 it will load the login page of this AP and I’ll have my custom image for that. But the problem with this solution is I also want to have roaming between Hotspots. I’m using a centralize Radius but it’s seam there is not good solution to tell the AP: Hey this user is authenticated let him go instead I have to relogin.
