iam pretty new in that forum and have a question to a certifacte procedure and one specif error showing in the log.
i set up a hotspot on 6.40.3 misbe and a main point is to use https for connection to the Login page.
First i tried the selfsigned certificates wit openssl but the result wa snot accepable because of the warning messages in all browsers.
Then i asked for a intranet ssl cerifikate but was very expensive. Then i had the idea to reserve a public domain with a relevant name like “hotspot…com” and
ordered a ssl certifikate for that name. all fine so far, i renamed the hotspot dns to the ordered domain name and installed the certifikate.
all is working well, i can connect the login page in https, the certifcate is shown as secure and verified through the CA.
but i get a log every hours like this:
“got CRL with bad signature, issued by …”
and in crl sektion is shown:
CERT LAST-UPDATE NUM REVOKED URL

Do i get any problems after a while that the certifikate will revoked?
