Hotspot config loses ssl certificate.

Hello all,

Just thought I’d post and see if anyone else has seen this. We have 4 seperate devices all running routerOS with versions ranging from 2.9.43-46 running similar hotspot configurations. (Our own pages installed, which redirects to a remote server where the user logs in) not sure if that is relevant or not, but here’s the issue.

Over time, say 20 days or so on average, people will call up saying they can’t login on one of the devices. They get dhcp leases etc, everything appears fine and there are other people still logged in but new users can’t connect.

Every time I go over the config to make sure there’s nothing wrong with it and it turns out to be the following. The certificate in the hotspot profile has switched back to “none” instead of “cert1”.

No idea why it does this, but if I just switch it back over and apply it works fine again.

I’ll be sending a supout.rif through to mikrotik staff soon, so I’ll post any updates here.

Have you resolved this problem ?

Not yet, I’ll see if I can do the supout as soon as it happens next time.
There’s only 2 of us that have write access to the boxes and I can confirm logins by checking who was logged in when etc..

So its a bit of a mystery.

I do not have any issues like this with SSL sertificate.
