is there a hotspot debug option so I can work out exactly whats going on?
ie watch all the traffic to and from the hotspot, along with the requests, responess etc?
Maybe that’s called sniffer?

tried MT’s Torch and Packsniffer, also ethereal, but they don’t give me enough info …
Then please tell us, how much info is enough?

Sorry for bringing this back up after so long, but it seems that years after years, there isn’t seem to be much info about the topic of hotspot debugging.
Right now I’d be delighted having some debug option that would log the “internal” steps that the hotspot module is taking while it authenticates the user/session.
So far I haven’t been able to locate such info, with the exception of the very insighful post from @gammy69er (http://forum.mikrotik.com/t/hotspot-data-limits/90475/1). So ANY other pointers to such knowledge will be most appreciated, folks!
