Hi everyone,
I recently set up my mikrotik as a gateway with an external login according to this wiki ( http://wiki.mikrotik.com/wiki/HotSpot_external_login_page ).
On my external login page, I have users complete a market research survey in order to authenticate on the mikrotik. On my website, the whole process works smoothly, but on the mikrotik I can’t seem to get the survey to come through. I have whitelisted my domain and every domain I can find associated with the survey company in the IP - HotSpot - Walled Garden as well as whitelisting the survey company’s IP range in the IP - HotSpot - Walled Garden IP. I have also whitelisted the CDNs the survey company uses for their code in the Walled Garden with no success.
My question is do I have to create a special firewall rule for users to dynamically be able to communicate with my servers as well as the survey company’s servers? Or should it work just fine with the correct whitelisting of domains and IPs in the walled garder?
As you can probably tell, I have little experience working with mikrotik outside of anything to do with problem. I greatly appreciate any and all help or advice. Please let me know if there is any more additional information I can provide.
