I tested hotspot a lot and now I want to use it on my WISP but I’ve a lot of customers and I can’t just start the hotspot and wait that the customer calls me ask about the username/password. I need to migrate the users slowly to hotspot.
I’ve all my Mikoritks APs configurated to work with Freeradius justo for Wireless MAC Authentication and I need to maintain this because I want more security and because each customer has a different WEP key that is provided by the Freeradius server.
Because of the Freeradius are used by the wireless MAC authentication I can’t start the hotspot with MAC authentication else the login page is never showed to the user (because the MAC address is on the mysql database to do the wireless mac authentication).
My doubt is: How can I migrating my customers to use hotspot Username/Password authentication gradually? (During the migration I need that all users have free access, without authentication, and when I configure the username/password the login page starts to appear to the customer that have this configuration done).
All my customers have fixed IP address than I know that I can use the IP bindings but it’s important to me to use the radius to do the IP binding because I want to have the minimal contact with the mikrotik.
