Hotspot Hosts list displaying only the bridge AP MAC!!

Hello,

I am having an issue with the hotspot. I set it up and noticed clients could not connect. I investigated and found out the the MAC address on the Host list its all the same.

My network:
Main Server: Mikrotik using Hotspot Version
Main Tower : 1 Deliberant APC-5m-90 AP
Remote Tower: 1 Deliberant APC-5m-12 connecting to Main Tower and in Bridge Mode
Remote Tower: 4 Deliberant APC-2m-90 connecting all users for the hotspot.

Problem: Only one user can connect at a time.

  1. I can see my dhcp leases show the clients correct MAC address when it gives them an IP address
  2. Activate Hotspot and still getting the correct MAC address on the DHCP Leases
  3. Host list on the Hotspot shows many host but all host have the same MAC address
  4. MAC address that shows on Hotspot Host List is the MAC address of the Remote Tower Deliberant APC-5m-12 Client that connects to the Main Tower. “The Backhaul”

I have gone into the APC-5m-12 configuration and it says its on bridge mode, also the DHCP Server Leases are getting the MAC from the clients that connect to the Hotspot.

I am thinking the APC-5m-12 its not acting as a transparent bridge, but if that was the case I would not see the users MAC on the DHCP Leases right?. So I think this might be a bug on the MT Hotspot, but I really don’t know. Checked all the code on the login page and everything seems to be fine . Can anyone guide me on what I can do? I have used MT for apartment complexes back in 2008 and never had this issue.

Thanks
Daniel

It’s a Mikrotik bug. Send this to support@mikrotik.com
