When running a hotspot, under “Hosts” the “To address” and “address” differ for other APs on the network.
For example
Hotspot is 10.0.0.1
AP1 is 10.0.0.2
AP2 is 10.0.0.3
AP1 is bridged with no dhcp-server and 2 wireless cards, one for backhaul and one for broadcast.
Same case with AP2
AP1 and AP2 “go down” or cannot be accessed because the “To address” and “address” differ under hosts in the hotspot.
10.0.0.2 and 10.0.0.3 are reserved in the dhcp table in the hotspot but have static IPs.
Any ideas?
