Hotspot Hosts VS DHCP Leases?

Hello,

I have setup a hotspot, I have noticed that I have 76 DHCP Leases but I only have 15 Hosts on the hostspot and 4 Actives..

Tell me if am right!!

  1. DHCP Leases are the amount of equipment that actually got an IP address from the DHCP Server?

  2. Hotspot hosts is the amount of equipment that are connected at the moment to the hotspot but are not login?

So if I really wanted to know how may guests I had connected into the wireless network I should look at the DHCP Server Leases?

Is there anyway to find out how far away is the person that connects to the AP? Lets say I want to know if the person is actually 50 ft away or closer or further, how can I find that out?

I know that this seem to be some stupid questions since I am answering most of them, but I just want to be sure..

Thanks you all
