Hotspot isp on Mesh network design and config question

Hi

I have a dilemma which config is better in terms of ping, tracert, VoIP, speed, in hotspot isp.

1st option : is configuring all the MT Access points in the mesh network with one portal or more in future with and NAT users behind theirs Public or Private IP.

2nd option: is to have all the access points with Private/Public IPs behind 1 core router with Public IP and Nat the behinded Access points.
All the Access Points are connected with Rip or OSPF routing/routed protocol. All the routes NAT hotspot users.

FYI. Radius manager/ Free Radius is use on the backbone network in case both bridged or routed setups.

I want to keep local traffic local to the hotspot on the Access point Hotspot so that is not going thru the lets call it back-haul connection ex. broadcast traffic, muilticast p2p etc..

I tested Routing set up and is show delay on each hop, i know Voip is sensitive when it comes to delay, Imagin i have 10-30 hops to go thru before hitting the gateway.

Any recommendation/help will be appreciated.

Thx for all your help. :frowning:
