Hotspot just works with mobile devices

Hello,

I have recently installed a hotspot connected to a radius. When I checked the log I noticed that only iOS and Android devices were able to connecto to hotspot.

I tried it with a Laptop with Windows 7 and no success. Login page does’nt appear with any browser (iexplorer, firefox and chrome). I tried with an iphone and “voilà”, everything works.

Anybody else? Any ideas?

I am running 6.13 on 750.

but what does appear in the laptops? error page? empty page?

I have found the problem. Windows is not able to manage non-regular DNS names like “mysite”, needs something like “www.mysite.com”. I just change the DNS hotspot name and now I am able to connect with windows. Android and iOS can manage non-regular DNS names with no problem.
