I was wondering if the following is possible without using an external server?
we have a login page which uses one password for all users to provide access to a free internet service. we would like to add a email and name field to the exiting password field. the password field will be used as it is already to log the user in, but they must enter a name and email to access the internet also. (can be validated in html) We do not want to associate the name and email with the login password. The name and email is needed for marketing our new services and offers. therefore once a name, email and the generic password is entered the user is logged into the internet but in the background we receive a email with the name and email the user used to login.
would this be possible without using a external server?
