I have a hotspot setup with mac auth. Works fine. I then drop the session using COA and change the radius password
so login is disabled. That works fine.
I then reset the radius login details so they are correct.
Now, given the above how can I force MT’s hotspot to re-authenticate the device?
For some reason, it doesn’t even retry even when the device is powered down and back up.
I am having a very similar issue. I can force the disconnect using coa from the radius server, which successfully removes the client from the registration table, and then removes them from the hotspot host table. The issue comes when trying to let them back on.. I cannot seem to get it to remove an inactive host out of the list, therefore the client never regains access without manually removing the entry. I wrote a script that can be run with scheduler to remove those entries but I would prefer it be done from the radius server.
