I am using the hotspot on version v6.44 on a RB450g without Userman.
after set limited bytes for example 200mbyte for on user by shared users as example 3.That one user will then sign-in on 2 devices, but when both devices stay active,it will then be possible for that user account to use 400mb but not reject users. please help me for solve problem
I only started playing with hotspot on ROS7 but the earlier versions there had the same problem.
If the user logs out and then in again, the counters would update. But only at logout.
In the later ROS7 versions (I think already on 7.1rc4) this was fixed.
Traffic stops when limit is reached and a user trying to log in again, would get a message indicating quota is passed.
Is it in option to upgrade to later ROS6 versions ? 6.48 or 6.49 ?
Could be this has been fixed there already.
Other option: use a script to forcefully log of users after a certain period.
Or use script to monitor the active sessions and act accordingly. There the counters are visible as well (if I remember correctly).
