I have a 3 CapAC (RouterBOARD cAP Gi-5acD2nD) configured in WDS.
I have 2 VLANs - VLAN5 and VLAN10
More exactly, the 1st one is wired, and the other 2 are wireless linked between each other.
I’ve setup a virtual AP (GuestAP) on the 2.4GHz network and forced it on VLAN10.
So far so good, clients connecting to the GuestAP are receiving IPs from VLAN10 for a PFSense router.
Now I’m trying to configure a hotspot on that GuestAP only for clients that will connect to that specific SSID and I get and error stating that I cannot configure DHCP server on a slave interface. What does it need a server, since the DHCP server is running on PFSense on my network.
What can I do in this scenario and how can I achieve this goal using WinBox (not good at Mikrotik’s CLI).
