I have a CCR 1072 with about 600Mbps bandwidth and about 100,000 concurrent connection(about 7000 hosts) and my network is routed.(every site has different dhcp server and …)
I run a hotspot on my local interface. and a simple queue for each user.
The problem is when i want use hotspot for the first time, redirecting a page to hotspot got about 15s. but if i type hotspot address it comes fast. i think the problem is from web proxy but i don’t know how can i fix it.

We suggest to use stand alone, dedicated web proxy server in network of such scale.
it is awful for mikrotik. an 72 core device can not handle 10000 user?

I found the problem of hotspot. The problem is because that the web proxy fetch the requested website (even the user is unauthenticated) and after that it destroy the result and will redirect to hotspot page. I think if mikroitk fix the problem the performance will raise.
