HotSpot printer

There are many hotspot commercial products that come with their own thermal printer to create user account and print voucher simply at a button press.

There is one from Handlink claimed to work with routerOS hotspots

But…how can I build my own printer system with my own parts ??
A few considerations:
Is there a support in routerOS for an attached printer ?
If not, does this Handlink product exchange a particular protocol with MT machine ? or are they simply commands to user manager as we do with userman webpage via browser ?
How can I create such requests i.e. with a networked PC in order to automatically create user and print voucher to PC printer (it could be a raspberry or beaglebone or arduino with its USB printer)

Anyone hasn’t tried this yet ?

Thank you

You can buy printer mechs OEM. They are pretty cheap on the web and if you have the ability, use an Arduino.

I designed mine for a hotel that had an existing EPSON POS printer and touch screen terminal using the Mikrotik
API and Qt.

Handlink WG-500p printer works like a charm with MT - has its own MT FW to flash it with - we have tested that many times.
