I have configured my Router as follows :
My main bridge is Arp=Reply-Only
My DHCP server is Add Arp for Leases
My Hotspot uses Address-Pool in Users Profile so that a hotspot “user" with credentials receives a private ip from a separate range.
This is what happens :
When the "user"connects to the Router Wifii, he first receives an IP from the main DHCP server pool.
The ARP entry indicates the MAC address assigned to that IP.
Once the “user” has entered his Hotspot credentials, he then receives an new IP from his Hotspot Address Pool.
That new IP is listed in the active Hotspot hosts.
However, that new IP does NOT appear in the ARP list, which means that the specific user cannot get internet connectivity due to main bridge being Arp=Reply-Only
When I manually enter the MAC with the Address from the Hotspot Address Pool in the ARP table, then he gets internet connectivity.
How can I configure the Router so that his MAC and new IP address be appended to the ARP table once he has successfully connected to the Hotspot and received the new IP ?
