Hotspot problem with Apple Mac

I had a customer claiming that he couldn’t get his Mac working with the hotspot. I suspect that the problem was something that the customer was doing. Can anyone discern from the attached log file what was going wrong?

Could be one of those with the titanium case. Look pretty but severely degrades the built in wireless!

Looks like maybe a builtin firewall is blocking part of the DHCP handshake.

This is ethernet so no problems with Faraday Cages

Firewall is a possibility. Any other thoughts, comments?

Maybe, but this is usually represented by a ‘Offered’ with no ‘Assigned’ in the dhcp logs.

What’s the DHCP Server config on the hotspot?

I’d be interested to see what the ARP table is doing as well.
