Hotspot Problem

Guys,

I really need your help here… I still want to set up hotspot to mikrotik router OS. I tried many times but could not get it done.

I am requesting if any of the gurus will help me with a copy of his working mikrotik router OS setting (i.e.) backup files with all its configuration and send to me to download and edit the settings to my network settings, I think that will resolve my hotspot problem once and for all (good).

for the hotspot you need:

asign DNS to the router
asign IP to ether1 (same net than the router to internet)
asign another range ip to ether2, for example. This will be used as hotspot users gateway
go to ip hotspot and click in the wizard or setup buton.. next next next next next next next next next next next.
Perhaps you need to reset html if you don’t see hotspot files in files menu. You can reset in ip/hotspot/server, clicking in reset html.

This should work.. it’s easy.
