HotSpot problems..

Hello everyone.

I have a 3.6 V Mikrotik put in a PC.
When I define the Hotspot, errors appear in the dynamic lines.
For example in the part of / IP firewall filter, the error appears on the line that has a number 4 at the beginning and / ip nat firewall, I get errors in the third line and also in the party refers to SMTP (not I described any direction SMTP).

IS NECESSARY SET AN ADDRESS SMTP? ..

I do not know how to fix … I spent many hours investigating and did not find the solution

These invalid rules do not create any problems for you.
Red rules are invalid, because there is nothing on that chain.
Yes, you are correct about SMTP, as soon as you add SMTP-server, this rule will be not invalid, but you can leave blank configuration for SMTP server.

Hai fren,
if you put blank, same you will write 0.0.0.0 with CLI
it mean will valid all smtp on local network, without rules drop on firewall ofcourse.. :wink:

I do not understand your post clearly.

Attention, these dynamic rules that are marked as red in HotSpot [version 3], do not affect your HotSpot operation, your HotSpot will work without any problems with them !

But nobody tells me if it is absolutely necessary to SMTP. What happens if I do not get anything, because they appear (in the NAT) invalidates lines referring to the port 25. In version 2.9.51 that is not happening … You confused.

  1. How can I customize the hotspot login page (e.g.)
    design and upload images and a little write up on top
    and at the bottom of the login page.

  2. How can i get to cookie directory and disable login by cookie.

  3. How can i get to pup-up directory and disable pup advert.

  4. How do i set the first page to appear after login.

It is not necessary to configure SMTP server, if you do not want all customers to send e-mails trough your SMTP server.

Access router with FTP, look for folder hotspot, there you will find all contents related to HotSpot login page.
Download them to your computer and set necessary modifications [basic HTML skills required].
Upload changes to the router to new folder like hotspot1.
Set to hotspot profile ip hotspot profile set name_of_profile html-directory=hotspot1

  1. How can i get to cookie directory and disable login by cookie.

There is no cookie directory except ip hotspot cookie in HotSpot configuration.
You can disable cookie login method in ip hotspot profile

  1. How can i get to pup-up directory and disable pup advert

You can disable it by advertise=no from ip hotspot user profile
