I have a weird problem when trying to redirect web proxy. What i am trying to do is allow users who have proxy server setup as part of the settings in their web browser to access our hotspot without disabling their currenty proxy settings.
I have managed to do this with partial success. It sometimes works and sometimes doesnt.
setup:
/ip hotspot profile
HTTP Proxy: IP of our MikroTik
HTTP proxy port: 3128
we have enabled the web proxy in mikrotik.
When i try to access the Hotspot with proxy settings enabled on my web browser sometimes it works fine and some times i get an error message incating that a java script has not loaded correctly and it doesnt load externally held images banners etc correctly.
has anyone come across this error or have a better solution for me.
