Couple of questions, I currently have a network which I’m expanding and about to throw in a hotspot…and a transparent proxy cache server too! See my beautifully crafted multi-coloured diagram.
My questions are with such a setup, will my queues on the head-end router continue to work as required after data has passed through the proxy? And Will my queues also work with data coming from the 192.168.1.* network? I’m sure it will since it’s routed and not masqueraded but thought I’d ask the question anyway.
Next question would be, will the filtering on the proxy work for the 192.16.1.* network…or does the proxy only work for directly attached subnets?
I know for some these may seem like basic questions…patience my young padawan.
