hotspot server profile vs hotspot user profile.

hiii..morning..
what is the difference between hotspot “server profiles” with hotspot “user profiles”??
what is the difference “rate limit” between the profiles??
whether they relate to each other??

my hotspot running on dhcp and no radius

The server profile is stuff that applies to the hotspot itself. Such as the Domain name, where it’s HTML files are located, etc.

The user profiles are the basic attributes that will be applied to each user upon them signing in.

Rate limit in the hotspot profile is a catch all rule for devices that have been bypassed or have not signed into the network yet. It defines how much bandwidth that pool of people as a whole can consume. The user profile is applied individually upon them signing in and they don’t share that pool with anyone else.

for example:
I have a 10Mbps from the ISP, if I want divide to the two profiles, and each profile gets 5Mbps,
and every user in the profile shuld have get 512k/512k

..how it should be done???

If I’m reading what you are looking to do right, segmenting things like that will require a more complex setup than what the hotspot offers by default. You should be able to get the results you want by modifying the setup that Fewi talked about at the Phoenix MUM last year, namely where he is talking about using PCQ and queue trees for rate limits in the hotspot setup.
