Please be advised that I recently purchased a MikroTik HEX RB750GR3 router in India (Serial No: removed by mod).
I purchased this router to set up a hotspot with a voucher system for my small homestay business. However, I am currently facing an issue with the hotspot configuration.
I created a bridge including Ethernet ports 2 to 5. Although internet connectivity is available on all four ports, the Hotspot Server status shows as “Invalid” and appears in red. As a result, hotspot control is not functioning.
I am currently using RouterOS version 7.21.3 (stable). As part of troubleshooting, I also downgraded the OS to version 6.49.18, but the issue persists with no improvement.
I have reviewed multiple configuration and troubleshooting videos on YouTube. I came across a video mentioning that, since 2025, there may be a known issue with the Hotspot feature requiring an additional configuration code or adjustment. However, I have not been able to resolve the problem.
