I need some help. I’m having fun with my routerboard and radius server with user-manager -hotspot mode baby!
and I’ve noticed, its not so hot as it might sound like, because its as basic as it can get, is there any method that when the user log in, that he/she will be able to see a control panel with some basic info like, how much MB/GB is left on the voucher, and how much have been used over the days or in total and some more useless info, and something that might be cool is to add SMS feature via a sms gateway or GSM devices, (sms gateway might be cheaper tho.).. to send a user a their username and password after a voucher purchase and also email them it, and when they get low on MB/GB’s, they get a warning email and sms?
You can fulfil your needs with User Manager and can also use DMA Soft LAB software Radiusmanager with Mikrotik. It will send all kind of welcome, login and logout sms on your mobile .

Hi, thx for reply, I’ve seen that page before and have used it to setup my first user manager on my routerboard in the past, but that page only shows you the basic setup of a user on user mananger on MK and the rest of the other shows some random stuff about radius manager
on the other hand, DMA Soft LAB software Radius manager is something I’ve looked at before but it cost money and user mananger is kinda free, and it works great! …
is there any way I can be that fancy with user manager ?
because user manager doesn’t have all that features mate…
You can also check 24online billing server. But its toooooo costly in comarison to DMA Softlab Radius Manager
You can connect 24online billing server also with Mikrotik as Radius Server but for this you have to pay 1000+ $ for just 100 subs online at the moment.
lol, I’m going to DIE, if I see another 24Onlinebilling recommendation, lol, and those units makes alot of noise aswell and work with complex licenses and is super expensive, I’ve had one before for 1 day, I hate it, I want a system thats unlimited and free or cheap once off, no use starting something semi profitless with a low budget and then after 200+ NAS devices later, one decides to switch platforms and use another type of server, I’m soo not going to make that mistake, I just wanna thank Mikrotik for being there, you are the MAN! to help start up service providers with a platform, the user manager might not be top class, but it aint bad for the average person.
